Holiday presents? What kind of holiday presents should I give to the teachers at my son's daycare program (he's 2). He has blossomed so much there and I want to be able to show them how much we appreciate it. I was thinking maybe some kind of food basket that they could all share because there are 3 regular teachers then rotating students (it's through the local university) and not all the students will be around because of finals ect.. What do you think? Any other ideas?

Will you use deferred payment/interest plans for _____? Or only pay cash? Since there is only 30 minutes to go...I've got my holiday shopping done as of this weekend. Here's what I have spent, this year. I am leaving out the new mattress for my daughter her old mattress gave up the ghost--I just found a good sale on black friday (under $200 for a pillow top). I averaged $70 for each child plus an additional $100 for gifts for the entire family. A free standing basketball goal and board games. I spent $70 on me. $70 on boss and co-workers, children's teachers. Kept it simple. I put it on my discover (1% to 5% cash back) and it will be paid off (I have the cash).

Do you open your presents on holiday eve or holiday morning? We usually open a few on December 24, then the rest on the holiday's morning.

How to have a happy frugal holiday season? Every year, I spend WAY more that I should on Christmas presents, holiday baking and holiday shopping.
