holiday gift ideas using glass bottles?

Does anyone have any ideas of cool holiday gift ideas using small glass bottles (1 cm diameter) with corks? I already have thought of filling the bottles with pretty stones and making snow globes. Thanks!

1. they fill them with different color sands to create a design in the bottle

3. go to the craft store and ask them what kind of glue you can paint onto the glass itself. Once you find out what kind glue it is, take dried flowers, paper or whatever you think looks cool. I can't remember what kind of glue it was we used to use. We also drillled a little hole in the glass itself and put x-mas lights in it it was a cool effect.
4. u can make an ocean scene by adding a bit of sand,add shells,pastic fishes and any thing else that reminds u of the sea.then take some water add blue food coloring into this and some glitter.voila ! u have an ocean scene just move it around its fun. enjoy
