How much do you plan to spend on Holiday presents?

And what I really want to know, do you tend to spend more on presents than you have cash available in your savings account ?

1. I do not buy holiday presents.
2. I always go overboard on christmas gifts... last year I was dumb enough to use my credit card. This year... with the economic status of America... and gas prices... people shouldn't be going overboard on gifts this year... I'm one of them. I'm going to try and keep it simple this year... minimal. I LOVE giving gifts and i love christmas... but I simply can't afford to spend so much dough on people. Oh yeah... and I'm only buying for my family this year. No co-workers... no gift exchanges... what's the point. I'm focusing on the meaning of christmas... Jesus, family, and Love.
3. i norm spend about 50 per person about 20 people so 1000 dollars and prob 300 on my daughter so 1300 all together but i started shopping now so i dont have to spend all my money at once
