Holiday gift ideas? for my... somewhat boyfriend?

Well... I'm in love with this guy from school... he loves me too but yea. I wanted to get him something for christmas or like valentinesday but I dont know what? Can you please give me some ideas .. im willing to make something.. just not buy anything or else he might think im rushing into things... please help? i need ideas!
