Holiday gift ideas for my dad?

I need help finding a gift for my dad. I have to be able to make it, I'm 13. He is a family practice doctor, that likes skiing, jogging and basketball. Thanks!

1. fleece blanket throw of his favorite team. You can get the supplies at Wal-mart and it doesn't require any kind of sewing. It's basically taking 2 big pieces of fleece, cutting the edges, and tieing the opposite sides of the edges together. 2. Offer to spend a day doing something with him that he likes - maybe go hiking for example. At 13, he knows he won't get to spend a lot of time with just you two together as much as you get older. He'd rather do that than get any material thing. Or offer to do a chore like clean the garage or paint a room.
